Hey folks, here's where we are: All work on the game on my end is done. I've been working on getting things going with the printers. Part of that is paperwork, including financial papers because I'm a new client. The printer—360º Manufacturing (http://360manufacturingservices.com/) is tied to Hasbro, so I had a bunch of paperwork to send to their corporate offices, and the address I sent it to weeks ago doesn't seem to have it, so I had to re-send it, plus the 2 folks I've been communicating with there have been alternately out of the office every couple of weeks. So, some of the business end of things have been moving achingly slowly. But, we're mostly past that side of things and will begin physical production very soon. Probably a week or two. Once that's done, the games will be ready in 6 weeks and shipped to Game Salute, (who is 1 state away from the mfr.) who in turn, will send them out to you. I'll get a few boxes myself to give to local backers in Seattle.
Making a print run of a boardgame is a complex undertaking, moreso in some ways than I'd imagined when I began this project, but it is happening. Please be patient. I'll make a full and lengthy update when I have a solid ship date from the manufacturer.
One bit of good news, I had room to include more bonus backer cards than originally planned. There will be a total of 6 exclusive cards (3 Action Cards, and 3 Diplomacy). Also, in the meantime while I'm getting things squared away on the production end, I'll re-purpose the art files into the print-and-play version and get that up online for ya'll. The print-and-play you get as backers will include the bonus cards. The print-and-play version I'll have available on gamecompany3.com in the future will not.
