Off-topic I know, but some of the more negative comments for Labyrinth mention too much randomness due to un/lucky card draws or dice rolls, how does this translate to AA?

In AA, there is no hand of cards like in Labyrinth. The next (upcoming) card on the top of the deck is turned over for all to see (along with the current card), so you can engage in some planning (i.e., tough decisions) whether the card draws are good or bad.

Makes for much better solitaire play without the bots (if you decide to go that route), too.

There is less die rolling in AA than in Labyrinth, but I don't mind rolling dice. A subtle (and nice) touch is that the Gov't don't roll any dice, only the Insurgents do. This reflects the intrinsic instability and chaos of the Insurgent factions as compared to a well-organized Gov't.
