I've just renamed the game "The Bubbling Box Edition" and moved on. Maybe it will be like an Inverted Jenny and be worth more thirty years from now, especially if everyone replaces or gets rid of the bubbled boxes...please go ahead

And if some of the previous posters are suggesting that Mr. Rao not bother to produce another game - well, we'd all still be living in caves playing Monopoly, if everyone had that attitude. Trying to realize a new idea, failing, and then trying again (and again) is what makes us great.

Valuable lessons have been learned and the community has been generally supportive. We love the game. I actually prefer the original to the new version, the new version just seems a little too serious (although it is still great) for such a fun game, but it is nice to have a box, however bubbly.

One good thing that CGF have likely learned (and that other games producers who plan to remake a classic should learn after seeing what happened here) is that passions for a game can run high, and that no one should underestimate the wrath of a geek spurned.
