Right. The text I remembered was from the October 11, 2009 post on CSW about Paris is Worth a Mass. I think I read it somewhere else more recently, but may be misremembering.Reading the original text of the Protestant home cards is interesting to see how much the game system has been streamlined. For instance the original Calvinist Zeal could only target France or the Netherlands, not both, and the original CZ rebellion procedure was to flip all spaces in one area that were Protestant religion and not occupied by Catholic units to Protestant political control. Units "in exile in Germany" could also be added.
It really is remarkable how well all the elements of VQ fit together, and how resistant the system is to being broken.
