When you play the game a lot you begin to learn which cards are in each deck, and planning for and around what capabilities you may draw into or your opponent may be holding becomes an important part of the game's strategy. Unintentionally knowing whether a card is from the pool of base game cards or expansion cards will have an impact for me at least, and I suspect for some other players as well. So I know you can't post anything on the Internet without someone calling you out on it, but quite frankly there's not really any debate that #1) I can easily tell my card backs apart and #2) it has a gameplay impact for me. Those may not be true for everyone, but they unquestionably are for me.

So anyway, the more constructive discussion I was looking for was whether I just got a bad batch of cards or if this is how all of them were printed, and ideas for trying to avoid seeing the card backs (and consequently gleaning unintended game information).
