My plan of turn1 strategy ( if you have a 5cp card except home card)Negotiation:
marriage with Prots, giving 4 mercs to England, getting a card from
Prots, selecting Prots or neutral and secret agreement with Ott
1st impluse:
you bet 5cp to Venice diplo.
2nd impluse:
Ott declare a war to Venice. You get control of Venice army.
Venice naval fight to Spain naval using 5cp card including DoW cost.
3rd impluse or more:
you get Buda city from Ott, give Venice city to Ott without army loss.
Ott get 1VP of Cyprus.
No Spain and Venice naval is ideal for Ott.
2nd turn or more:
You will keep peace treaty with Ott until 17VP or so.
