Dear gamers,
I can understand that it is difficult to wait so long. And I feel the same that this takes more time than we would like. But we are convinced that the only way to do this right is to have the game well tested and complete before we actually introduce the game to the market by producing and selling it. The process of developing such a special game is indeed time consuming and takes a lot of testing and (re)developing. We have to accept this.
We will introduce COUNTDOWN Special Ops only when we are convident about a good game experience and satisfied with all the test results. This might even take longer than also we had hoped for when we started developing. But the end result is more important than time, even when the clock is ticking and the COUNTDOWN has started. Nevertheless the time pressure makes the creating process all the more meaningfull and exciting.
We hope that the creation of this great game will give as much satisfaction to us (as designers) as it will provide fun with a unique game experience to the players. One of the issues we are working on is to make the coop game variant stressfull and exciting and not boring due to one player telling the others what to do. It takes smart designing and a lot of brainstorming to be innovative and not just to copy other mechanics. And also... it takes more time, unfortunately.
