Okay, so session 3 did not count since the Consul really forfeited many abilities and effects. I had been looking forward to unleashing my full might against the heroes!
Today I had my revenge! I tried to use almost all of the minions' abilities and maximized the combos.. E.g. Mob and Swarm, plus the abilities to improve armor rolls and attack rolls. So way before Starfire was spawned, the heroes were in dire condition.
I found knockdown particularly useful against the Claw Tribe Barbarian.. since she needed 1 AP to get back up, she would not be able to use her special attack, Rage, as often. So having the drake denizens like Whelp and Wyrmling around were great.
The heroes did pretty well this session. They took out a spawning point in round 1. And quickly secured two relics. Unfortunately, the power gauge hit Super! way before they had the chance to clear the remaining spawning points.
So out came Starfire... The double activation of Starfire was ridiculously OP. I wonder will I be able to deal with it when its my turn to play the heroes...
The heroes did well but seemed to fall short... perhaps they needed a certain hero who heals better.. Maybe they needed to look around the high citadels for a certain champions of light...
