This might be due to a language barrier or simple due to my inability to understand certain wording but could somebody help me out clarifying how home cards are used in this game. Surprisingly, this is the aspect of the game that I have bee struggling to understand. So, my questions are, Once you have used your home card, you place it in your power card until the start of next turn when is dealt again. Does this mean that, throughout the game, a player will always have a home card available to him/her and the same home card can be used throughout the 7 turns?
Also, what is the difference between discarding a home card and putting a home card on the power card? I know the practical difference (the one in the power card has been used and the one in the discard pile has not been used) but since all the cards that were discarded will go into play again the next turn, including home cards, why not just put the played home card in the discarded pile? The rules state that a home card is placed in the power card to show that they are not available until the start of the next turn but wouldn't this rule be the same for the discard pile since they are also available in the next turn? I really hope this makes sense and let me know if I need to clarify anything.
