Yeah Eclipse just had too much of a snowball factor going on, with lucky early exploration draws dictating who got their snowball started first. It tries to give the illusion that it isn't a pure military conquest game, but really victory goes to who has the most valuable planets to draw on.also, plasma missiles :(
