Yes, that's right. You have to decide how many cubes you want "invest" into the map. No cubes inside the map gives you VP, so not too many or you will be forced to battle (so some cubes return to the pool)

Remember: not in Achaia territory. But it's a poor region, especially in the first 2 rounds with only 3 or 4 units collecting.

Yes. You have to find another way (maybe a sea movement) or expend 2 Prestige to make 2 land moves.

Since, in this example, Gytheion is only a strength 1 Polis, this is a very good move when Sparta does not protect his home region... :)


And Chalkis (the "twin" polis of Gytheion) it's the good spot for the Spartan player.
