Even more so, "everyone just does colonize" is the most common from what I have seen.
I haven't seen it happen first hand, but I know about it from other threads. I'd simply recommend leading colonize enough to get cards in your deck, and then simply follow colonize instead of leading it (using the cards you have). You can lead warfare to get fighters/attack planets as well. You will have ample opportunity to follow colonize, where as your opponents won't ever follow warfare.
