huor11, I believe the invest rules work as follows: When you reach the second and third levels on the research track, you get an invest token. You keep this token for as long as you want.When other player are about to blend some coffee, before the take beans out of their roaster, you can put your invest token onto to blend slate to invest in the blend.
You can't put an invest token on a blend that is already in the market (or already has beans on it).
