This really might be one of the most beautiful games I have ever seen. In fact, it even transcends the limitation of "game bits" and truly slips into the realm of stand alone art.
I am just blown away by the incredible styling that went into this game. Every piece holds up, and even the simple functional bits have a smoothness and flow about them.
I think this will spend a little extra time on the table the first few plays while everyone goes over the art!
Great job guys!
The only bad thing...it did not include a disk with hi-res versions of the blend slates so I can print posters!

Joshua,
Thank you so much for the kind words! One thing I knew we wanted out of VivaJava was a sense of immersion and a nice blend (:ninja:) of reverence and irreverence, which is a delicate balance. Thankfully, I had a great base structure for the graphic design in TC Petty's original prototype, and Darrell Louder was super helpful in assisting me with some of the Blend Slate designs. It was a labor of love, and I couldn't be more pleased with how it all turned out. I'm glad you think so, too!
As for hi-res Blend Slate art, those were created a bit larger than the actual size, so there could be an opportunity for mini posters after all the shipping is done...
Cheers!
Chris
